What exactly is a Seta AI chat, and how does it use credits?
A Seta AI chat is counted when Seta AI actively helps your team move a customer conversation forward. This can happen in two ways:
- When Seta AI suggests a reply in Suggest Mode
- When Seta AI responds automatically in Act Mode
You are not charged per message or per word, and never per person on your team. A credit is used for the two moments listed above, and nothing else. More billing questions are answered in the FAQ on our home page.
WhatsApp & Meta charges are billed separately at official rates
Meta bills you directly for WhatsApp messages at official rates; Setaflow adds 0% on top. Since 1 July 2025 Meta charges per delivered template message — marketing, utility and authentication — and service conversations are free, as are utility templates sent inside an open 24-hour service window. Your messaging cost stays exactly what it would be going direct. Rates last checked August 2026.
